Who I am as a Designer

I have studied Architecture, a discipline that has taught me that a structure without a soul is just a box, and a design without a narrative is just noise. I carry that into everything I build. I want to know why a button exists, not just where it sits. I am at my best when I am analizing the "why."
I’m a designer because I’m obsessed with how things work, and I’m a storyteller because I care about how they feel.
If there’s one thing that over a decade in this industry teaches you, it’s that most things are built without a soul. I’m a bit of a cynic when it comes to "seamless experiences" because life isn’t seamless. It’s discordant, unpredictable and complicated. So my work isn’t about chasing a trend, it’s about finding the underlying logic of a story and turning it into functional design.
With a foundation in Human-Centered Design, I don't just "make things pretty." I architect solutions. Whether I am defining an MVP for a government innovation hub or optimizing a global payment platform, I balance strategic design decisions with a meticulous attention to detail. I am a firm believer in efficiency through automation although it can not replace the human touch, but it will free us up to focus on what matters most: innovation.
Who I am beyond design
My goal and aspiration is to contribute to systems that are sustainable and useful. I believe AI is our next great tool that should be used to tailor experiences without losing the messy, beautiful and essential human connection that makes design worth doing.
